But with a birds-eye view of Abruzzo's rolling landscape from the garden, it'll be hard to tear yourself away. Whether you're sipping espresso in the morning breeze, splashing away afternoons in the pool or dining alfresco as the evening sun sinks below the horizon, you'll relish every glimpse of that scenery. We know we would.
Inside is a lovely mishmash of styles – think antiques, Palladian-inspired architecture and gleaming marble floors. Snuggle up around the fireplace for a post-sightseeing snooze, hunker down in the study when you need to work from home or just spread out in the comfortable living area with a glass of wine and plan tomorrow's activities.

*This home is set over two floors with an internal staircase – however, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here for those with limited mobility

*The pool is only available to use from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October
*The swimming pool can be heated up to 26°C, on request and with at least a week's notice
