The Verdon Regional Park (best explored on foot or bike) and the world-famous Gorges du Verdon (best explored by kayak) are both on the doorstep. Local lakes (including Esparron, Sainte-Croix, Artignosc and Quinson) provide a plethora of opportunities for water sports, including kayaking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding, as well as electric boats and pedaloes. There are many walks in the surrounding area, from short ones around the house to much longer examples in the surrounding pre-Alps hills and mountains.The bustling city of Aix-en-Provence is about an hour away and has excellent links to Nice, Marseille and Paris on the TGV and the fast French Autoroute system..
