In the hills outside the iconic beach town of Cefalù, Casetta nel Bosco offers a buyer who won't shy away from a renovation project the chance to own a sea-view home with a very large garden in a beautiful, quiet spot.
RENOVATE OR REBUILD
The cottage as it stands consists of a 60m2 main house, with one bedroom, a living room, kitchen, study and bathroom. Alongside this is a 15m2 wooden shed. The foundations of the main building have begun to move, and this has caused instability of the front wall and cracking at the rear. In addition the roof needs to be redone.

Alternatively you may be able to find a solution to save the existing cottage, which would obviously be cheaper.

The cobbled streets of its Medieval old town lead you past atmospheric piazzas and alleyways before bringing you to the spectacular square on which stands the town's unique Arab-Norman cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the new town, a fabulous two kilometre strip of golden sand offers a spectacular view of the town's unique skyline, with the twin towers of the cathedral in the shadow of the mountainous outcrop known as La Rocca.
