This 18th-century bastide presents French charm and country living from the heart of the Dordogne. You'll be just 3 kilometres from the shops and restaurants of Castillonnès, which a country footpath can reach. Meanwhile, other scenic towns in the area can easily be accessed by car. The garden is one of the home's best highlights, as it features a private swimming pool, an alfresco dining area and grassy lawns that lead into the surrounding fields and woodland. The setting inside is just as peaceful – especially in the bedrooms. Then with an open-concept main living area and kitchen, you can host sociable soirées as a group following days spent discovering the local wine region, castles and river activities.
*While not all bathrooms are photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to maximise your stay. There is private parking available on the premises.
*The swimming pool is open from April to October.
*The home is spread across two floors, so it may not be suited to those with limited mobility.
