Wooden house, built in 1960, renovated and modernized in 2021. On the ground floor, living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sauna, washroom and WC. On the upper floor, 2 bedrooms, both with 2 beds, upstairs lobby with 1 bed, walk-in closet, WC also upstairs. Terrace on the river side.

The neighboring cabin is an occasionally used fishing cabin. The distance to the actual neighbor is about 120 m. There is a shooting range nearby, distance is about 1.5 km.
Ounasjoki river is great for fishing enthusiasts. There are grayling, trout, whitefish and pike in the river. Ounasjoki has joint permit area ().
Small game hunting opportunity on the owner’s land. 1000 ha of hunting areas are available, permits from the owner. Opportunity also for pheasant and duck hunting on the pond.
In addition, the owner has meat processing (vacuuming, meat grinder) and freezing facilities. Wild boar meat available as fresh, canned, smoked and sausage.

Särestöniemi museum on the other side of the river, the distance is 2.5 km along the river (about 18 km along the road). In winter, the nearest maintained ski trail starts from Särestö leading to both Ylläs and Levi. The owner makes a connecting trail from the cabin to the Särestö ski trail.
