It’s also a walker and mountain biker’s paradise around these parts – this home has heated bike storage and a boot room. The wood-burner in the living room can warm up frozen toes and the sleek kitchen is equipped with everything you need to fuel up, post-walk. Your host is in the neighbouring farmhouse should you need anything.

*This home is up a set of stairs from the entrance so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
*There is private parking for two cars as well as a bike shed, but please note that this home is down an unpaved farm track and a 4x4 is advised in winter
